The Villa Marconi Family Council is a member of the Champlain District Family Council of Ontario. The Family Council of Ontario is an independent body recognized by the Ministry of and Long Term Care as a proa as a proactive partner in the delivery of quality care for residents in long-term care homes.
Mission Statement: “To improve the quality of life and well-being of residents”
The main purpose of The Villa Marconi Family Council is to improve the quality of life of our residents and to give families a voice in decisions that affect their loved ones in their home.
Other objectives include:
• To provide a support network for families
• To educate and inform
• To discuss and action concerns
• To maintain positive lines of communication between management and families
• To sponsor activities for residents
The Villa Marconi Family Council meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. We encourage all family members, POAs and friends of Villa Marconi residents to take part in our meetings, become a collective voice and continue to support quality care for residents.
